Spencer Flores

Multimedia Artist | Visual Storyteller | Nostalgia Hunter

Spencer Flores is a Mexican-American multimedia artist known for his explosive visual style—a chaotic blend of punk nostalgia, surreal humor, and emotionally-charged color. His work draws heavily from graffiti, retro cartoons, comic books, and music video aesthetics, creating immersive pieces that feel like artifacts from an alternate pop universe.

Mentored in his early years by Mexican art legends Héctor Falcón and Gerardo Yepiz, Spencer’s foundation was shaped by their visionary influence. That guidance continues to echo through his wild-eyed characters, sharp storytelling instincts, and experimental use of painting, collage, and digital media.

His work has been featured in exhibitions across the U.S. and Mexico, gaining recognition for its bold pacing, immersive world-building, and raw emotional resonance. Spencer’s characters—equal parts cartoon and cultural relic—reflect the intensity and joy of youth, filtered through a mixtape of hip-hop, alt-rock, and 2000s nostalgia.

Often described as part cartoonist, part chaos conjurer, Spencer is building a visual language that speaks to a generation raised on scratched VHS tapes, sketchbooks, and soundtracks. His work is a love letter to memory and mayhem, bridging personal history and pop culture in ways that feel both timeless and electric.
